2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid Priced at $26,790, $520 Less than 2012 Toyota Prius v
The Prius V will actually have some competition? It will be interesting to see if the MPG numbers will be competitive...doubt it though.

We already know Toyota's new Prius plug-in(1654 units) outsold the Nissan leaf AND the Chevy volt in April 2012.

Scion Vans?Food for thought on Toyota's future..
Toyota gained ground this month. For once.
The most important data for me was the 1.2% gain in market share,This doesn't sound like much but when you look at the market
as a whole,it's a lot of cars. They haven't actually gained any market share in years.
I'm not sure how many of you have read Steve Jobs epic biography but in it,when he assumes control of Apple again, the first thing he does
is simplify his products.Or at least the amount of models Apple made.Obviously it worked and the rest is history. The point I want to
make is Toyota needs to eliminate and simplify products that don't sell and will never sell.Matrix, FJ cruiser,Sequoia and Yaris for sure.
These cars and trucks, while great ideas at one time are only using up valuable resources, engineers, marketing, time and energy.Cut these 4 auto
mobiles and expand the Scion division.
Scion peaked at 173,000 in 2006 and was down to 49,000 last year.Toyotas vision at one time for Scion was a division that build different
cars and changed them often.Imagine if Toyota expanded Scion to Scion trucks,Scion Vans and other concept Scions.I mean think about it,
Toyota could basically use it as a concept car division.Build a new type of vehicle every 3 years, why not?Why not a 3-seater or a single-person
car?Just food for thought!
